- Fri: lexicology presentation
- Mon: Argumentation
- Next next Mon: Interactional essay

i must get down to studying. Kinda looking forward to the long hours of studying in school, probably with little moo-moo.

I still remember the hilarious seat-snatching experience at YIH last sem.

miss the times we spend pushing each other on...and the silent encouragement seen in your smile.
but i know you are always here :)

Decided to stop surfing around blogskins and settle for a simple and standard Blogger template. Makes blogging life alot easier when 95% of the templates posted up there are just crap. Ultra-bad colour coordination, tiny textboxes, ugly pictures and other lousy stuff.

Am off to Mount Ophir tomorrow with my mum for yet another RC tour. haha. We will be visiting a waterfall :) wow. These tours are really convenient as the bus practically picks us up and drops us off at our doorstop. Helps alot when your mum is a shopaholic who returns with twice as many carriers as everyone.

Just signed up for golf lessons with the school club! Looking forward to picking up the sport, thanks to the influence of my brother: watching the PGA together, having friendly competitions on 'homeground' -a patch of carpet grass to practice putting- and of course helping out with his online business at islandgolfers :) Just have to mention the (quite negligible) $50 sponsor of my monthly allowance.

looking forward to the short break tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

Am happily back in school :)

had a juggling workshop on tuesday and the turnout was pretty good. Found some fellow 'slow' jugglers. heh. After a year in the club, i can only manage the 3-balls basics well but am respectably good with the diabolo. Thus my theory still holds: people who cannot juggle will probably do better with other props. Still in charge of publicity this year and will churn out some posters soon. And 'soon' is an extremely relative term.

Japanese Studies Society held their welcome tea yesterday. Was not impressive but those who came were already prepared to sign up. Ah well. There were some dances, tea ceremony and yours truely and some friends put up a half-hearted singing 'performance' of the japanese version of Yue(4) Guang(1) .

Really glad you came. I guess it's hard to find someone whom i can get along with so well in 2 days. Perhaps i was in a mood of high sociability, if there is such a thing. Tired of building on these false hopes, and yet i am not helping myself at all with yet another meeting later. it is only courteous to reciprocate your attendance at my ccas with my presence at yours. pretty lame excuse.

Not in the mood to write. Darn.

Am done with work at the petshop. Yes i did enjoyed it...the animals are real cute and the people i work with are nice. but somehow realised i am not a 'sales' kind of person. It's wierd but i actually feel quite bad in persuading someone to make a purchase. I am fine with giving customers pet advice but it's really alright if they want to think on it and not buy anything this time round. But they told me i have to be more aggressive in my sales talk. Which is logical since they are running a business with real big-time investments. But i dread the feeling of failure everytime a customer i spent my time and saliva on leaves empty-handed.

Working makes me appreciate school so much more. Went down to help out at the matriculation fair for three days last week. Met up with my cca friends and just soaked in the school atmosphere. And made many new friends as well! It felt so safe, friendly and just totally away from all the work politics and money matters.

This may sound crazy but i miss school so much :)

it's been quite a long time since i updated. somehow i lost touch with blogging. It's ironic that most of my entries are written at times when i was really busy and stressed out with school stuff. Too busy doing nothing during the hols to write..heh.

Australia was a great experience. Our accomodation was at a fren's fren's college apartment, so it's like 4 girls sharing a one-person place. haha, squeezy but very cosy. i was lucky to be small enough to claim the sofa as my bed. it was really comfy though i needed to bend my legs a little to fit myself in nicely. i miss waking up from hibernation every morning, and saying my favourite four-letter word then - "cold". We cooked or packed our meals as far as possible because of our low budgets. Which is great cos i happen to love cooking! We always whip up really yummy healthy pasta and rice dishes full of vegetables, especially celery, tomatos, carrots and zuchini.

With a map in hand, we explored the city by foot (tram fees aren't that affordable!). it takes about half an hour to reach the fringes of the city from our place. The streets are quite confusing and we had a pretty tough time finding some places, but thick-skinned us took advantage of 'tourist rights' and asked our way to our destinations. That's the fastest and easiest way.

Many memories i tried to capture on my cam.  i remember waking up really early on the days of our day tours, and walking in the freezing morning air down to Swanston Street where we will spot the APT travel buses.  and i am missing my Woody, the handsome horse that i rode on! cannot forget the terribly bad weather up at Mt. Buller, lugging the skiing stuff and stomping around in those heavy boots. The wind was so so strong!! it pushed us back and forth on our slippery skiis..wow. i truely experinced the powers of Nature. and the snowing was heavy, pretty sight but quite painful when the snow hits the face. They felt like mini ice-cubes. and yay, i finally got to make a really cute snowman! :)

Now that my dream trip is over, it's back to work at the petshop. it's nice to be wanted back at the shop and be around with the furry critters, but things just feel different. Maybe because of the new staff, and my nua-ing during the trip where my only duty is to enjoy myself.

oh well. there's a time for everything. Will be posting up the piccies soon :)

heyhey! am happily freezing myself here in down under :)

Horseriding yesterday! really really fun. i miss my horse, his name's Woody. and guess what's so special about him? he's a poor thing, blind in one eye due to some illness. was so shocked i found that out...but he's still such a darling and one of the more obedient ones. it was a three hours' open trail ride in the forest where we saw kangeroos in the wild and had a nice campfire with hot tea :) but my butt and backbone really hurts now. the horses were galloping away and we were hanging on for our dear lives. haha.

went up to the Blue Dandenongs to get a pretty nice overview of melbourne city. fed birds and had a nice tea half way up.

tomorrow's plans: Warook farm and Philip Island to see the penguins etc. yay!

just dropping by to say a big hello from Melbourne! whhhheeeeeee :D

it has been great so far. went skiing on wednesday and the strength of the wind up at the snowy mountain was amazing. it can actually push you..wow. first time i saw snow and built a snowman! heh.

today was supposed to relaxing to rest those aching muscles. but shopping was tiring too! walked down to city and had lunch at chinatown. and went right up to chocolate heaven at Max Brennar's. warm choc is irrestible and totally comforting on a cold cold day. the wind can really drive you crazy. but loving the weather so far :)

i wish i could wirte more but gotta save on internet time for my friends here. Missing friends and family lots -hugs-
